She stayed on top of the situation, and always kept me informed of any activity on the listing. She is reachable, if I had questions, and if she did not immediately have an answer for me (and she usually did) she would research and find it.She is a great negotiator, got me the best price for my purchase.     We have bought and sold four homes from Marcia Shanin over the past several years, including three luxury homes. We think we could not possibly have found a better real estate agent. She is exceptionally well-informed about the marketplace and about particular homes she is showing, and is always well prepared. To say she is a concerned about the well-being of her clients is an understatement. She has spent hours on the phone with us at all times of day and night as we have agonized about home sales and purchases. With extreme patience, she has researched any question we have raised and driven us all over town to see any home that might be of interest.Marcia has been superb at negotiating all four deals she handled for us; getting us top dollar in the case of the two homes we sold, and securing great deals on the homes we purchased.Most importantly, Marcia has good judgment. Where we have observed other brokers push their clients into deals that are not in their best interest, Marcia is remarkably honest about things.
